Why should a professional translate my documents?

Over the years we have heard this question asked many times and the short answer to this is; ‘because the content, presentation and quality of the work that you send out, directly reflects upon you and your company’. This is, of course, true of all communications that companies send out, however, it is all the more pertinent when using a foreign language as a medium of communication as there is far more scope for error and mis-understanding.

This, of course, in no way detracts from the linguistic skills of personnel within many companies; very often their ability is adequate for understand the gist of a document, or sometimes, they may even be very fluent in a language; it is important to realise, though, that ability within a social context is very different to fluency within a business environment. Language and conventions used in everyday speech and writing are often wholly inappropriate in business use and this is greatly compounded within specialist fields such as Law, Finance, Engineering or Medicine, where slight errors in translation, can have grave consequences.

All of our translators are qualified native speakers of their specialist languages and many (especially our London translators), are also qualified in and additional field such as Finance, Law or Medicine, so you can be assured of a clearly rendered technically perfect translation with full localisation.

As one of the largest translations services companies in the UK, Lingo24 has offices in London and in most major Cities countrywide, so if you are looking for a translator in London or many other cities, you will be able to utilise the services of a local translator to undertake your translation project.

So if you really mean what you say…it is always best to use a qualified translator to ensure that you end up saying what you mean!
